Blue Avon aims to be flexible and we are happy to advise you on how best to meet your requirements with no obligationTo be most effective, we recommend that: 

  • Training courses vary in length but can be adjusted to make best use of the time available;
  • Groups should have no more than 25 participants as our methods are very interactive; 
  • English language groups should be ideally 15-20 to accelerate learning

Trainees will receive Blue Avon certificates of attendance on completion of their training.

 

Development Workshops and Training Courses
Our standard courses are outlined below.  They can be customised using our short Development & Training Modules in order to focus in greater depth on topics to suit a particular group of participants.  The minimum delivery time for each Module is about 3 hours but will depend on the experience of the participants, the degree of interaction required and the content.

ENGLISH FOR TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY

This course can be delivered as an intensive grounding for tourism and hospitality staff or as a refresher course for those who wish to improve their English skills.

  • The language of the bar, restaurant and dining room
  • Offering help and/or information
  • Dealing with complaints
